One Sheet Wonder

Need cards in a hurry?  Make 16 cards in an hour using this One Sheet Wonder technique.

Supplies: Fun & Fast Notes; Bali Breeze Designer Series Paper; Whisper White, Taken with Teal and Certainly Celery card stock; Whisper White Greeting Cards with Envelopes; Taken with Teal Classic pad;  Word Window punch; paper cutter, SNAIL

To get started you will need:

An image/greeting stamp set

One Sheet Wonder Template

One 12 x 12 sheet of Designer Series paper
(double-sided gives you more options or you can stamp a design all over a sheet of card stock)

A Classic Ink pad that coordinates with your DSP

One 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Whisper White card stock

Two 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of card stock in the same color as your ink pad
(Card stock A)

Two 8 1/2" x 11" pieces of card stock in a second coordinating color
(Card stock B)

16 card bases (5 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces of card stock folded in half)

A paper cutter

Adhesive

Begin by cutting your card stock:

Cut a sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" Whisper White card stock into sixteen 2-1/8" x 2-1/2" pieces.
(Cutting Tip: place the 11" side of the card stock against the edge of the paper cutter and cut four 2-1/2" strips.  Then cut each strip into four 2-1/8" pieces.)

Cut sixteen pieces of 2-3/8" x 2-3/4" and three pieces of 2-1/4" x 2-3/8" Card Stock A.
(Cutting Tip: place the 11" side of the card stock against the edge of the paper cutter and cut four 2-3/8" strips from one piece of card stock and three 2-3/8" strips from the second piece of card stock.  Then cut one strip into three 2-1/4" pieces and the remaining strips into 2-3/4" pieces.  There will be extra scraps left over.)

Cut four 3-3/4" x 5" pieces and two 2" x 5-1/2" pieces of Card Stock B.

Cut a piece of 12"x12" Designer Series paper into pieces, following the One Sheet Wonder Template.
(Cutting Tip: Start by making the two vertical cuts: 2" and 5-1/4".  then make the horizontal cuts on each of those pieces.  When you cut the E and small A strips from the 4-3/4" wide piece, use the ruler on the small edge of the paper cutter to measure the 1/4" strips before cutting the large rectangles.) As you cut the pieces, you may want to put them in piles according to the letter of card layout that they correspond to.

Stamp Your Images

Stamp an image from Fun & Fast Notes on each of the pieces of Whisper White card stock. (To omit the words on some of the images, I used the Scotch Tape Masking Technique.)

Stamp a few extra images on scraps of card stock.  Use the Word Window punch to punch out the words.

Assemble Your Cards

Tape the white images onto the Pumpkin Pie card stock. 

Assemble your cards by following the layouts below or be creative! 

A cards

Use (almost) squares and strips from the DSP plus the three pieces of 2-1/4" x 2-3/8" Card Stock A.

B cards

Use two 3-3/4" x 5" pieces of Card Stock B.

 

C cards

Use two 2" x 5-1/2" pieces of Card Stock B.

D cards

Use two 3-3/4" x 5" pieces of Card Stock B.

E cards
