If you've been reading my blog the past week, you know that I just went to the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in San Antonio. On that trip I stayed with three other Stampin' Up! demonstrators and it's customary to give "roomie" gifts.
So here's what I made for my roomies...
filled with chocolate of course! You can see from the side view that there is just enough width to fill it with a cello bag full of Hershey's Kisses.

I'm in sunny San Antonio today for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference. This morning after waffles shaped like the state of Texas, I headed over to do my Make & Take projects. I didn't get very far because I usually do a lot more talking than stamping, but here are the two projects that I did finish.
Totally forgot to take a picture of the cute bag we got, but I'll get to that later. You can kind of see it in this picture of Lyssa and I on the San Antonio River Walk.
We had a delicious lunch at Rio Rio and then went to tour the Alamo.
Oh and my favorite part of the Make & Takes this morning... this cute little box filled with 3 different kinds of chocolate. YUM!
That's all for now, check back later to see some of the display ideas. They are amazing! I'll also be sharing more photos over on Facebook.
Today's project comes from Mary Staveness of A Bushel and a Peck. Mary has been attending my classes for nearly as long as I've been having them - over 12 years! She's been sharing her projects with me for years and now that she's got her own blog, you can get ideas from her too.
These handmade note pads are super cute and make a great gift! I know I'd love to have one to keep in my purse.
For the step-by-step directions on how to make these note pads and a fun tip for using your clear mount stamps, head on over to Mary's blog.
You know I love it when you share the things that you are making! These Christmas M&M treat bags were made by Norma Dusing.

Yesterday I told you that one of my favorite new things in the Holiday Mini Catalog is the 1"x8" cello bags. Here's what I did with them to make treats for my hostesses that attended my Hostess Appreciation Night last month...
I think I put 20-25 M&Ms in each bag. This is the perfect treat when you just need a little something to give.

How cool is this birthday cake? Helen Meissner made it out of Hershey Nugget Candy Bars wrapped with Designer Series Paper.
You've only got 3 more days to take advantage of the Buy 3 Get One FREE Designer Series Paper special from Stampin' Up!
I made this box of chocolate treats as a thank you for the hostess of my last Stampin' Up! workshop.
With the Big Shot and the Matchbox die, it was a snap to put together the box using the new In Colors Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party. The flower on top was made with the Fancy Flower Punch and the Boho Blossom Punch, with a Printed In Color Designer brad in the center.
Open it up and you'll find chocolates (Hershey's Nuggets), wrapped with labels stamped with the It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set.
These little boxes make the perfect wedding favors, baby shower favors, gift for teachers... the possibilities are endless.
