One of Those Days...

Today is one of those days where I am so thankful that I work for myself.  School was closed and instead of having to scramble for childcare alternatives I was able to stay home and care for my kids myself. Although it wasn't the day I had planned for, I was able to reschedule what needed to be done.

Greetings from Nashville...

One of the things I love most about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that it allows me to travel.  I LOVE to travel!  Right now I'm in Nashville, TN with a lot of other fun demonstrators learning how to build our businesses and share the wonderful world of stamping with more people. Of course, I'm also getting lots of new stamping ideas and I have a ton of new cards and ideas to share with you. 

Last night Stampin' Up! took some of us to the Wildhorse Saloon for a delicious buffet dinner and some line dancing.  They even gave us all cowboy hats!

I Love My Job!

Have I told you how much I love my job?  Yesterday I was able to work in the morning and then take the afternoon off to have a family day.  My morning "work" was stamping lots of cards for upcoming events.  FUN!

My daughter had her tonsils out last week and though she's not back to school yet, she is recovering quite well and was ready for an outing.  We headed north to Ski Hi Apple Orchard for some apple treats (apple turnovers and apple pie, YUM!) and then went to Devil's Lake for a walk and playtime at the park.

I forgot to bring the camera along, but I was inspired to make this apple card after our outing...

 

This lovely fall color combo is More Mustard, Always Artichoke and Riding Hood Red.
